Elliot needs to marry for money. He decides on Nina. Unfortunately for him, she has her eyes set on someone else. So what else is Elliot supposed to do but to help her win her heart's desire. But that doesn't mean that he won't try to change her mind.
Nina was supposed to marry another, but soon learned that he was not the man she thought he was. So when she decides to look for someone else, she knows that she needs someone that is the opposite of her former betrothed. She settles on a man, but he doesn't seem to even know she exists. So when Elliot offers his help, she takes him up on it.
As they spend more time together, Nina needs to decide if she is willing to risk her heart again by choosing Elliot or go with her safe choice?
I loved Nina and Elliot's story. The bantering between these two, had me laughing out loud. I really enjoyed watching Elliot decide just how far he was willing to go to help Nina, when he wanted her for himself. This was a great addition to the Infamous Lords series!
