My Tempting Highlander by Maeve Greyson

My Tempting Highlander by Maeve Greyson

This is book 3 in the Highland Hearts series

Living an immortal life has been a very tiring life for Ronan Sutherland. Watching as all of his loved ones leave the earth and waiting on the one woman that will break the curse that was placed on him. Granny Sinclair believes that her granddaughter is that woman and sends Ronan into the future to get her and bring her back.

Mairi Sinclair is not like her sisters. She is happy to be living in the present and has no desire to go back in time to live the life that they are living. But everything changes when she meets Ronan, but he isn't telling her the whole truth about the curse.

What will happen to Mairi and Ronan's love when she finds out all of his secrets?

I really enjoyed this story as much as the other two in the series. I wasn't sure if I would, knowing that it had a little bit more paranormal elements in it. While they factor in quite a bit to the storyline, they aren't "in your face", so to speak.

I liked Ronan. We meet him in the previous story, My Highland Bride. He was sorta the bad guy in it, but you knew that he was doing what he did because he was desperate and didn't know what else that he could do. Reading his story, made me fall in love with him. Although, I kept saying in my mind that he really needed to tell Mairi everything involving his curse. Unfortunately, he almost blew it...

I liked Mairi, but she wasn't a stand out heroine for me. She was just ok...

There is one more sister that Granny Sinclair needs to see married and at the very end of this story, we learn who is suppose to be her soulmate. I'm looking forward to it coming out!

My Highland Bride by Maeve Greyson

This is book 2 in the Highland Hearts series.

Traveling back in time to thirteenth-century Scotland for the birth of her sister's baby, Kenna Sinclair is met by Colum Garrison. Seeing him for what he is, a womanizer, Kenna vows to steer clear of him but that proves hard to do.

Colum takes one look at Kenna and knows his womanizing days are over. But can he convince her that he has changed before someone else wins her heart?

I always love a good time travel story and I really enjoyed this one. I liked Colum while reading My Highland Lover. I knew that it would probably be one of Trulie's sisters that finally brought him to his knees.

I felt bad for him because he didn't think he was good enough for Kenna and so he delayed proposing. Since she was technically still single, that left the door open for someone else to come in. And come in he did! One thing leads to another and Kenna has a choice to make...did she make the right one? Read to find out!

I'm looking forward to the next book in the series!

This is book one in the Highland Hearts series.

Trulie Sinclair knows that she is not of the current time period. Her grandmother brought her and her sister to the future so that they could get the medical attention they needed to survive. Convinced that it is Trulie's time to go back home, her grandmother talks her into accompanying her back in time. Trulie didn't count on meeting a rugged highlander that took her breath away.

Gray MacKenna, never imagined that he would see a beautiful woman appear right in front of him. As attracted to her as he is, Gray just doesn't know what to think of Trulie. She is so different from the women of his clan.  When Trulie helps him to find a murderer amongst his people, he can't help but wonder if he has found his one true love.

This is my first book by Greyson and I will definitely be back. I love a good Highlander story and if it involves time travel, all that much better!

I always love to see how a modern day man/woman will react to things they encounter in the past. Do they say things they shouldn't, talk about things that have yet to happen and other "out of time" things.

MHL also included the solving of a crime, which added interest to the story.  I really enjoyed this story and can't wait for the next book in the series.
