Mercy finds her friend dead and in the process of trying to help the authorities, ends up arrested. When released, she is determined to find the killer. She doesn't know that she was going to get some help in that endeavor.
Raphael has personal reasons for trying to find the killer. Since meeting Mercy months ago, he can't seem to get her from his mind. When the opportunity to work closely with Mercy presents itself, he jumps at the chance.
While they both know that neither is good for the other, neither can seem to fight their attraction for the other. Can they solve this murder as well as figure out if there is a spot in each other's life for them?
I absolutely adored Mercy and Raphael's story!! We've met both characters in previous books and I was excited to see how this would all pan out. I loved watching these two working together and seeing their instant attraction turn into something more.
So excited for the next book in the series which stars Mercy's sister and Raphael's brother!!
