Falling for Mr Townsbridge by Sophie Barnes

William is happy to have returned home but he is definitely not looking forward to his mother's matchmaking attempts. What he didn't count on was the mouthwatering meals that his family was now being served. Looking for a late night snack, he is shocked to learn that the new cook is a beautiful young woman that he is instantly intrigued with.

Eloise has come to England from France for employment. She couldn't find work there and loves working for the Townsbridge family. She hopes to save up enough money to one day open up her own cooking school. When she meets William, she knows that she might lose her chance at her dream. If they become involved, she'll lose her job. But evening knowing this, she can't seem to quell her feelings.

Will this upstairs/downstairs romance end up with Eloise losing everything she has worked so hard for or will they both get their HEA?

I really enjoyed William and Eloise's story. I was a quick, very enjoyable read. If anything, I wish it has been longer so that we could have gotten  to know them a little better and spent more time with them.
