During a drunken night, Beau and his friends make a bet about who can pass themselves off as a servant at a house party. He decides this is the perfect opportunity to further his Home Office investigation into three gentleman that are attending the house party. He ends up posing as one of the men's valet. Things are proceeding nicely until a maid starts turning up every where he goes and impedes his investigation.
Marianne knows that there is something going on with her employers new valet. He is just a little too sure of himself and she finds him in places he should be. She decides to investigate him herself to see what he is up to. She didn't count on starting to fall for the man.
What will happen when all their secrets are revealed? Will this budding romance fizzle out or will they find their HEA?
I really enjoyed Beau and Marianne's story! I loved watching them try to outwit the other and then finally coming together to help each other on their "mission". I was laughing out loud at the bantering between these two. This was a great conclusion to this wonderful series!
