Olivia is at the mercy of her aunt and uncle and given very little freedoms. She also has to fend off the unwanted advances of her cousin who is determined to marry her for her dowry. When a chance encounter gives her a way to leave her guardian behind, she jumps at the chance.
Hamish has a young child left on his door step and is told that the child is his. In the middle of a family crisis and needing to travel to Scotland, Hamish is ecstatic to have his neighbor volunteer to act as nursemaid to the child. While he believes that Olivia might not be telling him the whole truth of her situation, he doesn't look a gift horse in the mouth.
On the journey the two grow closer. But with both of them keeping things from each other, can they get their HEA?
I loved Olivia and Hamish's story!! I loved watching Olivia get out from her aunt and uncle's thumb and to watch her truly blossom when out on her own. Olivia was perfect for Hamish how she was able to help him work out the issues of his past. This was a great addition to the Disreputable Debutantes series and I can't wait for Lady Charlotte's story!!!
