Eleanora wants nothing to do with the nobility. So when her boss asks her to go over the accounts of the Duke of Elsmore, she wants to decline. But her love of numbers and a good challenge, has her changing her mind. Since Eleanora has many questions along the way, she and the duke end up spending time together. She starts to see that not everyone in the ton is bad news.
Rex has not been paying close enough attention to his family finances and sees that there are discrepancies. His sisters will soon be married and his finances will be looked at by many as the settlements are made, so he needs to get everything in tip top shape. He hopes that by getting help from Eleanora, he can right his own finances and not bring a bad name to the bank that he oversees. He quickly learns that there is another side to Eleanora that she doesn't show to anyone else.
While these two are mutually attracted to one another, their stations in life are very far apart. Can anything come of the attraction?
I loved Eleanora and Rex's story!! I loved all the bantering between the two of them. I loved that they fell in love gradually as they got to know one another. This was a great addition to the Rogues to Riches series!!
