One Night of Scandal by Darcy Burke

Jack catches Viola trying to get into a gentleman's club. To make matters worse, she is dressed as a man. She does so to write for a woman's magazine, which wouldn't publish her work under her own name . As a man, she can go places that she can't as herself. When she runs into Jack, she is afraid that he will reveal her secret. Instead, she is surprised when he offers to help her find the information she is after.

Jack has know that "Tavistock" was a woman for some time now, but when he catches Viola trying to enter a gentleman's club, he calls her out on it. As they start working together, they grow closer. But neither has plans to marry, so what will happen when they realize they have fallen in love?

I really enjoyed Jack and Viola's story! We've met Viola previously in the series and I was looking forward to her HEA. Burke did not disappoint. I loved watching Viola interact with others in places that she normally wouldn't have been allowed as herself. That added an additional layer to this wonderful story.

I look forward to the next book in the series!
