Joanna is still dealing with the death of her husband. She has just helped her two friends find their HEA, but that is not enough for her. She needs something worthwhile to do and is tired of being treated like porcelain doll. She decides to volunteer with a charity. I loved Joanna and Ambrose's story!! The bantering between these two had me laughing out loud. I really enjoyed Ambrose embracing his new life and helping Joanna get past her grief of the loss of her husband. Joanna had been such a rock for her friends in the other two books in the series, that it was nice to see someone take care of her.
I really enjoyed this series and can't wait to see what Holt comes up with next!
