After losing the love of his life, Calder has turned into a very uncaring man. His father was always into following holiday traditions and since Calder blames his father for the current state of his life, he has done his best to abolish them in his home. Even when his sisters beg him to continue with him, he doesn't change his mind. But then his old flame comes back into the picture...
Felicity, now a widow, has return to her former hometown to take care of her ailing mother. But when she arrives home to find that Calder has cancelled all of the holiday festivities, she teams with his sisters to try and change his mind.
Spending time together make Calder and Felicity realize that they never let go of the love they had for one another. Can they they let go of past hurt to find their HEA?
I really enjoyed Calder and Felicity's story. In the other two books in the series, Burke had us all wondering why Calder was such a scrooge. We finally find out and our third sibling finally gets his HEA! I loved watching Felicity melt the cold heart that Calder had developed in their time apart. They really were perfect for one another.
You definitely need to pick up this series for a nice holiday read!
