Rose had to disappear when she learned that someone was trying to murder her. Her aunt let everyone believe that she was dead. She moved to America and started a new life for herself. But she hears from her aunt and returns to her homeland. Not long after her arrival, she literally runs into her old flame. Not wanting to drag him into her troubles, she tells him she is not who he thinks she is.
Mac can't believe that Rose is alive. He is ecstatic to have a second chance with her. As hard as Rose is trying to push him away, he is fighting with everything he has to protect her and to never let her go. Can they make something of this second chance?
I loved Rose and Mac's story!! Reunion stories are always one of my favorites! I loved watching them interact with each other and the bantering between them had me laughing out loud! I love how Kingston is able to mingle the action/mystery parts of her story without distracting from the love story! Hopefully she is continuing with this series as I have throughly enjoyed each one!
