Faye is determined to bring the people that were responsible for taking the Lost Lords to justice. She knows the perfect man for the job, the Beast of Newgate. The only problem is that he is now locked up in the prison that he used to run. She makes plans to get him out of prison.
Tynan is freed from prison with the help of Faye, but she expects to get something in return. All Tynan wants to do is to get his position back at the prison he just left. What he doesn't realize is how determined Faye is to get him to help her.
Can these two find a way to work together and will they end up with more that they bargained for?
I adored Faye and Tynan's story! I loved that Faye wanted those that wronged the stolen children to have to pay for their actions. Tynan on the other hand wanted everyone to only see one side of him, the side that controlled the criminals of the city, but Faye saw through the the real him.
Another wonderful story by Caldwell and I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next!
