The Hero and the Hellion

Callum has been away at war for the last four years. He joined the army in hopes of bettering himself.
He grew up working in the stables and the woman he is in love with is the sister of a Viscount. Knowing that he couldn't provide for her they way he wanted to, he did what he had to, even if if meant leaving the woman he loved for four years. As soon as he accomplishes what he set out to do, he rushes home to claim his love, but she doesn't seem too eager to start where they left off.

Heloise is heartbroken when Callum leaves her. But that takes a back seat when she learns she is pregnant. Heloise is not about to give up her daughter and the family decides to claim the child as an orphaned cousin. She spends her time raising her daughter and acting as the local midwife. When Callum returns, she tries to keep her distance. But she soon realizes that their love for one another hasn't died. What will happen when he learns of their child?

I loved Callum and Heloise's story!! I have eagerly awaited reading their HEA since I read The Dreamer and the Debutant and then watched Heloise mature through her brother's stories. I just loved watching these two together!! Even though they spent many years apart, their love never wavered. Devlin hit it out of the park with this one!!
