Willow has just arrived in London. While making her way to the boarding house she is planning on saying at, she encounters a nobleman being robbed. She jumps in and helps him out. He is grateful and walks her to her new lodgings. The next day at the employment agency, Willow is told that because she is American that no one will want to hire her as a governess. On her way out, she runs into the man that she aided the previous night.
Ansley is in need of a new housekeeper. When he arrives at the employment agency, he is shocked to see Willow. He is even more shocked that he offers her the position as his housekeeper, even though she has no previous experience. Ansley is not good with people, but he finds that he can talk to Willow and he soon finds himself falling for her.
Will Ansley make his new housekeeper an improper offer or will he go against the grain and ask for her hand in marriage?
I loved Willow and Ansley's story!! I loved watching how Ansley was more the person that he wanted to be when he was with Willow. He became less rigid with his routine and more comfortable around others. This was a great addition to the Wicked Earls series!
