Guy goes to the abbey to get support from the bishop. He didn't count on being overheard and then being blackmailed to get married. His mission of of the utmost importance and he won't let anything stand in his way. Not even the fact that he had plans to never marry.
Sabine is at the abbey against her will and will do anything to escape. When she overhears Guy, she knows this could be her only chance to escape. She demands that he become her husband, in name only, to keep what she heard a secret.
Neither want the marriage to last, but as they spend time together, they both realize that they are starting to car for the other. Can this sham of a marriage turn into one in truth?
I loved Guy and Sabine's story! As you got to know both of them, you could see that they were perfect for each other. This was a great addition to the Order of the Broken Blade series and I can't wait for the next one to come out!
