When William sees a woman watching a ship that his friend has just boarded, he decides to kidnap her and find out what she knows. When he learns that she poses no threat, he must keep her with him for her own safety. But she is determined to get away from him and back to her employers. Rose can't believe that she has been kidnapped. She soon learns that her capture has made a mistake, but she needs to get back to her employer. When it becomes obvious that won't happen, she ends up helping William with his mission. Can the two of them save the people they love and maybe find their HEA in the process? I've been looking forward to William and Rose's story since the previous book in the series. It was as enjoyable as I had hoped it would be. I loved watching them go from mistrusting each other to falling in love.
