A Midnight Dance by Lila DiPasqua

The daughter of a wealthy theater owner, Sabine Laurent grew up seeing royalty and dreaming of her own prince charming. But when they fall from grace, she must do whatever she must to provide food and shelter for her family. As a distraction, Sabine end up playing a prostitute so that her cousins can steal a hoard of silver. She didn't count on her mark being the handsome prince from her childhood.

Jules Moutier must take his ill gotten gains to restore his family's name. When Sabine shows up at his camp wanting food, he pushed aside his reservations because of his instant attraction to her. When Jules doesn't fall for their plan, Sabine goes through with her ruse and plays her part even though she is a virgin.

With her plan spoiled, can Sabine help her family survive? And now that she has had her prince charming, is she willing to give him up.

A Midnight Dance is DiPasqua's version of the Cinderella story, but a much steamier one at that!! The sexual tension between the H/H practically leapt from the page. I really like the story because we had people that had grown up with wealth and then they suddenly didn't have it. But unlike some, they were willing to do whatever it took to get back what they once had.

This is the second book by DiPasqua and I definitely need to go back and read the other books in the series!! I am really looking forward to reading her upcoming novel, Three Reckless Wishes!!
