She is resigned to her fate and agrees to have a "white" marriage with Percival. But things change when both of them realize how strong their attraction for each other is.

It's hard to believe that this is Clement's first novel. Most authors take a few novels to get into their groove, but Clement hit a homerun her first time up to bat! The story was engaging, heartfelt and had a bit of intrigue. A perfect combination!
I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!
